A NOTE FROM THE FOUNDER

We built it because
we needed it, too.

Notice grew out of running our own products, including MyPlate.food and Nom.now. Building got easier. Keeping up with the business still meant checking dashboards, chasing problems and figuring out what to do next.

So we built the tool we needed. NoticeOS brings that work into one place, for people turning their own ideas into businesses.

Run NoticeOS
yourself, today.

NoticeOS is open source. Run it on your laptop or a small server, connect your sites, and keep everything in a database you own. It’s free under the AGPL-3.0 license.

  • Connect your sites.

Add a site, then connect Google Analytics, Search Console, Bing, Clarity or PostHog.

  • See what earns.

Revenue and costs side by side. Missing data stays missing, never a quiet zero.

  • Know what needs you.

Failed collections, unusual traffic and new errors, with a Discord ping if you want one.

  • Keep the work moving.

Tasks with owners, blockers and approvals, plus the Wall for a screen across the room.

RUN IT YOURSELF

Start it on your own machine.

git clone https://github.com/notice-cx/NoticeOS

pnpm install --frozen-lockfile
pnpm start

It opens at 127.0.0.1:4747 with an empty workspace, ready for your first site. You’ll need Node.js, pnpm and Docker. The README lists everything.

There’s no login yet, so keep it on your own computer or a private network.

A LITTLE MORE CONTEXT

Good questions.

What is NoticeOS?+

NoticeOS is an open-source operating desk for people who run websites and software products. It brings each product’s traffic, revenue and costs, uptime and alerts, and the tasks behind them into one view, and the Wall puts that view on a TV or spare screen. You can run it yourself for free today. A managed Cloud version is coming soon.

What’s the difference between Notice and NoticeOS?+

Notice is the company building tools to help founders run and improve their startups. NoticeOS is the product: a shared view of your business, with monitoring, financials, projects, tasks and workflows.

Who is NoticeOS for?+

People building their first startup, solo founders and small teams running several products. If you built with AI and now want a clearer view of the business behind the app, you’re in the right place. You don’t need a portfolio to get started.

Is this another analytics dashboard?+

Analytics is one part of the picture. NoticeOS connects asset health, traffic, financials, workflows, projects and tasks so you can see the business and the work that moves it forward. The Wall brings that view to a screen you can see from across the room.

Which tools does NoticeOS connect to?+

Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Bing Webmaster Tools, Microsoft Clarity and PostHog for traffic and behavior. It checks each site’s uptime on its own and can send alerts to Discord. Revenue comes from supported ad and affiliate networks or a CSV import, and your own products can report their numbers to it directly.

Can I use NoticeOS today?+

The open-source version, yes. NoticeOS is on GitHub under the AGPL-3.0 license, and you can run it on your own machine or server today. To look around first, tour the live demo. The paid, managed Cloud service is coming soon. The proposed launch prices above help us understand interest; choosing a plan joins an early-access list. It does not create an account or start a subscription.

What do I need to run NoticeOS myself?+

A computer or a small server with Node.js, pnpm and Docker. Clone the repository, run pnpm install and pnpm start, and it opens at 127.0.0.1:4747 with an empty workspace. The README lists exact versions and the two other command-line tools it needs. There’s no login yet, so keep it on your own machine or a private network.

What about AI agents?+

Agentic workflows are coming to NoticeOS. They combine asset signals and independent research to identify opportunities, create connected tasks and prepare improvements within your chosen boundaries. You can follow the evidence, review the changes that need you, and check the outcome after release. Explore the agent workflow example.

Are these numbers real?+

The product views use simulated data from fictional assets. The Home and Wall screenshots use the working product’s components with the NoticeOS identity. Revenue, traffic and growth figures are examples, not performance claims.
